For many years I have been involved in the teaching profession, primarily in Special Education. In this role, I worked as a classroom teacher, mentor, and a member of the leadership team.  

 

I also worked for ten years as a volunteer counsellor doing both face to face counselling and working on a 24 hr telephone helpline. 

 

I have presented at conferences and workshops and spoken at funerals for family and friends.

While I am an experienced speaker and enjoy presenting,   I formalised these skills in 2019 and completed my qualifications in Celebrancy. I am fully registered with the Australian Attorney General's office.

On a more personal basis, I have two sons, I enjoy travelling and more recently took up scuba diving.  And of course, I enjoy time with my family and friends.
